Bio:

Hello! My name is Ariston Collander. I am an IT professional bringing over 10 years experience in systems management working in diverse and fast paced environments.

Professionally, as the Systems Engineering Manager at PCV Murcor, I manage the daily workflow of the engineering team, as well as maintain the backend infrastructure components including the virtual environments and SAN storage.  Keeping the backend systems and virtual infrastructure healthy is paramount to a successful business. Leveraging both proprietary and open source solutions, it is my job to maintain technology continuity and provide recommendations to the CIO regarding potential cost savings through the enhanced re-use of existing equipment and leveraging the assistance of respected technology vendors.

Personally, I am the father of two amazing boys who are my future.  Socially, I am very active with Twitter and Facebook and consider myself an early adopter of new technologies, particularly in the mobile space. My passion is photography, as it provides me with the creative outlet to offset the logical side of technology.
